My friend told me she had stopped eating peanut butter, and I was astounded when she told me that there was sugar in it. I checked the label, and sure enough. Now why would we need sugar in peanut butter? I started reading labels and my life has become much healthier because of it. This article was another shocking expose of how the Western Diet kills. You don’t have to be a food fanatic to follow Michael Pollan’s Food Rules: Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants. It starts with reading labels, better still, eat food that doesn’t need a label because it is just what it is with no other ingredients.
“eat food that doesn’t need a label”
Exactly!
