Tomorrow is Pi Day, and we always celebrate in style. We went for it early this year, because we had friends over for lunch. I couldn’t see the point in making a dessert for today, then making a pie for us tomorrow.
So we ran the numbers, and my brilliant, engineer husband determined something about today’s date being 3.135…(give-or-take *mumbly-bumbly*), and we could round that off to 3.14, and therefore! it would be just fine to make the pie and serve it for dessert today.
As long as we saved some to eat tomorrow. On the real Pi Day.
So we did.
This of course called for ice cream, which I cooked up last night and froze this morning. French vanilla.

So my having had pie after dinner tonight is totally justified! Thank you!
That picture looks delicious. I could eat it up. But I’m sure the actual pie would be better 🙂
On the other hand, there are fewer calories in the digital version. You can eat the whole thing!
No rhubarb in the store when I went, not even for ready money, so next on the wish list was peach.
Oh yum! Happy Pi Day!
Thus we nerds and geeks make the world a better place for…well…Pi. Aw yeah
